On the other hand, if it is light green colored echo, you can assume it is probably\u00a0swim-bladderless fish like Atlantic mackerel, as shown in the screenshot below.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.furuno.com\/img\/product_features\/FSS-3BB_ID_color.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The IDENTI-FISH<sup>TM\u00a0<\/sup>echo function displays echoes with different\u00a0color depending on the fish species so that you can quickly identify\u00a0the species and their distribution even when mixed together.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.furuno.com\/img\/product_features\/Mixed%20echo2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The following picture shows that the FSS-3BB is capable\u00a0of identifying swim-bladderless fish. In this example, the\u00a0Atlantic mackerel echo is displayed in light green.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.furuno.com\/img\/product_features\/FSS-3BB_non-swimbladdered_fish_echo.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>IDENTI-FISH\u2122 histogram graph<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The IDENTI-FISH<sup>TM\u00a0<\/sup>graph compares the histograms of the school of fish within the measurement range with the model data, and\u00a0indicates the similarity of fish species by numerical values and bar graphs. The default model data saved to the system are Atlantic\u00a0mackerel and herring. You can add new fish species in the model data and create own reference curves for any fish species. Two areas\u00a0of the echogram can be measured and analyzed simultaneously.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.furuno.com\/img\/product_features\/FSS-3BB_IDENTI-FISH_echo_histogram.png\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0 \u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.furuno.com\/img\/product_features\/FSS-3BB_histgram_example.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In the upper right example, the yellow line represents a reference curve of Atlantic mackerel. The red line represents a reference curve of\u00a0herring. The blue line shows actual echo distribution pattern as measured in the selected area on the IDENTI-FISH<sup>TM\u00a0<\/sup>echo display.\u00a0The blue line is almost identical to the red line which is a reference curve of herring, and the degree of similarity indicates herring with 98%\u00a0accuracy, you can therefore assume, with a high level of confidence, that it is indeed a school of herring.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The combination of the IDENTI-FISH<sup>TM\u00a0<\/sup>echo display and the histogram graph is useful for distinguishing fish species. The FSS-3BB can be\u00a0customized as a dedicated fish finder for each user with this unique function.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\">\n<h4>Accurate fish size measurements in easy-to-understand graph form*<\/h4>\n<div class=\"cf\">\n<p>The FSS-3BB measures the size and distribution of fish in the selected school, and displays this information in a graph that can\u00a0be understood at a glance. TruEcho CHIRP\u2122 technology has improved the accuracy and reliability of fish size measurements and\u00a0graphs (max.3). This function allows you to compare and analyze the size of fish and the density of schools, which are key data\u00a0when aiming for fish of a particular size.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>* Fish length is a reference value calculated from reflection intensity.
